In celebration of opening weekend for the film, "Despicable Me 2," here is a spot we worked on for Yoplait/General Mills and Universal featuring the Minions. The spot was animated by Illumination in France, and we worked with Saatchi & Saatchi to bring it to life, with Producer John Catapano and Adam Kline, Copywriter. Music and mix was by Big Yellow Duck, featuring Stuart Kollmorgen and Lou Esposito, respectively. The VO was by the inimitable Chris Phillips. Justin Roth storyboarded and Art Directed, and he deserves the lions share of the credit, in our opinion, for why this spot is so much fun.
Of the many tie-ins with the minions this summer, we are pretty proud about how this one came out. Ya gotta love the Purple Minion yelling "GoGurt!"
